Equipment failures triggered sewage bypass at Wasaga Beach treatment plant
Roughly 170 cubic metres of partially treated wastewater bypassed filtration at the Wasaga Beach Water Pollution Control Plant over the Thanksgiving weekend, after a torn panel and a failed motor knocked disk filters offline.
